Recruitment at Dorset Scope
Dorset Scope employs around 250 staff with a wide range of roles across children’s and adults’ services. We recruit to the highest and safest standards using fair and thorough recruitment processes; almost all applicants (only some office staff excepted) are checked with the Criminal Records Bureau and other nationally held lists before being cleared to work with vulnerable children or adults.
Closely linked to recruitment is continuous in-house training for the work we do; there is thorough general induction, together with task-specific training where necessary. New recruits will be joining an organisation that values staff; recognising the importance of on-going relevant training and rewarding long service.
